As a reminder from our previous communication regarding previously purchased attendee tickets and vendor/exhibitor spaces:
For Attendees: Paid tickets for the 10th annual, The Pink Event will automatically be valid for the new date. As previously communicated, attendees may opt for a refund within 30 days of the new event date being announced. Based on the announcement date of February, 19, 2021, all refund request must be receive by March 20, 2021. Request received by the deadline will be automatically refunded by April 30, 2021.
For Vendors/Exhibitors: As previously communicated, no refunds will be issued, for vendors/exhibitors spaces, due to the postponement of our 10th annual event, resulting from the global pandemic. Our courtesy refund window closed on March 20, 2020. However, vendors/exhibitors will be given the opportunity to participate in either our 2021 or 2022 event. For our 2021 event, vendors will be given the option to participate virtually or in-person, at the BWI Airport Marriott, the original location of the event.

POSTPONED UNTIL 2021: The Pink Event - Refunds for Raffles & T-Shirts Purchased in Advance - Issued
As previously mentioned, although, tickets for the 10th annual, The Pink Event will automatically be valid for the new date in 2021, the t-shirt and raffle ticket purchases will not transfer over. As of August 31, 2020, all refunds for t-shirts and raffle tickets, purchased in advance, have been issued. Email confirmations were sent either from Square (our website payment processor) or Eventbrite, depending on where your original purchase was made for those items.

The Pink Event will be postponed to 2021 and all tickets/vendor spaces will be held for you to attend. The date will be forthcoming as soon as possible. The reason for the postponement is for your utmost safety. We just could not hold the event in person and feel good about it due to so much uncertainty. We appreciate your understanding.
In lieu of our Live Event during the entire month of November, we are going to be holding different scheduled events virtually via our social media platforms, free of charge. POSTPONED: The Pink Event 2020
As you may know the Governor of Maryland prohibited all events over 250 people as a precaution to community spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The 10th annual, The Pink Event will be POSTPONED until November 1, 2020, in light of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. As mentioned in previous communications, we have been closely monitoring this fast-evolving situation and the health and safety of everyone in attendance is top priority for our entire team.
We have sent out emails to those that have purchased tickets prior to this rescheduling, as well as all of our exhibitors. You must follow the instructions in the email, to request a refund, no later than Friday March 20, 2020. Please be advised that we will be unable to process refund requests received after March 20, 2020. If you have any questions, please send an email to tpe2020@thepinkevent.net. We are working hard to respond to all emails within 48 hours. Please allow additional response time for emails sent on Saturdays and Sundays. Thank you for your support and patience during this time.

We are working diligently to figure out a new date for the Pink Event. While we were looking forward to seeing you at the end of March, here is what we know so far: we will definitely have the same great experience and it will be at the same location. We are working with the BWI Airport Marriott to finalize a new 2020 date and will announce soon!
Once we have the new date, we will communicate options for attendees and exhibitors via email and Eventbrite. We will also resume ticket sales that we have temporarily paused since yesterday.Thank you for your patience and understanding, as your safety is of the utmost importance to us during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.
Although The Pink Event, by definition from the CDC is not classified as a mass gathering or large event (an event with more than 1000 people), the well-being of our all guests and participants is of paramount importance.

- Real Time Information: Marriott’s Corporate and regional teams are on standby 24/7 to support the hotels and coordinate with local and regional authorities.
Cleaning Products and Protocols: Our hotels use cleaning products and protocols which are effective against viruses, including:
- Guest Rooms: Hotels use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items.
- Public Spaces: Hotels have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, elevators and elevator buttons, door handles, public bathrooms and even room keys.
- Back of House: In the spaces where associates work “behind the scenes,” hotels are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like associate entrances, locker rooms, laundry rooms and staff offices.
