This year is very special. For one, we are so excited to be fully in person for The Pink Event. We know how important this is for fostering deeper connections and making new friends with the incredible women who attend our event. But also for another reason. We wanted to make this year’s TPE the best we’ve ever had. So let us tell you a few ways that we intend to make that happen.
We often call The Pink Event the “Ultimate Women’s Day Out” because it provides a space to create and foster new relationships, learn about other businesses through vendors, hear inspirational words, and dance, drink and eat along the way.
As women, we are often trying to take care of everyone and can forget about ourselves. One of the most important relationships that we can have, is with our girlfriends! It’s easy to become so busy that we no longer have as much time for people outside of our immediate family. Relationships usually last, but maybe we aren’t as close as we once were, or aren’t making as much time for others as we would like to be doing. We all need a self-care moment, but how do we make time? It’s especially hard when we work full time, have demanding bosses, children, and a partner, and feel like we have to do it all. Let’s be honest, with hustle culture there is also a drive to always be doing. So how can we stop right now at this very minute, and start making changes towards self-care? We have a few suggestions for you that have worked for us.
Today we are sharing a few quick tips, including some from the founder of The Pink Event, Tamika. Let’s do these, together. Are you ready? |
