Odenton, MD (April 2, 2018) —The eighth addition of The Pink Event took place on March 25 at BWI Airport Marriott outside of Baltimore. To celebrate women’s history month, Maryland-based Diamond Events Services, Inc. hosted its annual one-day women’s expo. The event featured guest DJ, Michal Carlton Smith, and live music from two singers and songwriters: Annalise Curtin, and Shelby Blondell.
The event attracted a number of sponsors:
Sponsor, Giant Food hosted two interactive workshops. And, Bai Drinks brought in complimentary beverages along with photo booth fun. The Pamper Lounge provided a space for participating beauty service provider to offer mini services including massages, manicures, henna tattoos, and more.
There were various vendors on site as well as, who were selling jewels, fashions, packaged goods, and beauty products, handmade items. For eight consecutive years, the expo has empowered local women entrepreneurs with a platform for economic value exchange and social interaction.
In addition to the ultimate women’s day out, The Pink Event gathered women for a great cause. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales and all the proceeds from the raffle tickets were donated to The Pink Event’s Exclusive 2018 Charity Partner, For 3 Sisters. The nonprofit is a national grassroots organization with a mission to raise awareness and improve the quality of life for men and women affected by breast cancer.
